Anyway, I've been doing a little of this and a little of that. And lots of planning.
I finally got round to ripping the papers out of a bee block I received long ago. It was a 24" block so this took a while, but it is done, and wasn't actually quite as bad as I built myself up to believing it would be. And I have aided matters by telling myself getting a pair of tweasers and pulling the little bits out of the corners really isn't necessary. Please don't tell me otherwise!
Then, in pursuit of my goal to finish as much of my FAL list as possible I have picked up one of my WIPs and been working on the hand quilting. It is a small project and if I do a bit here and there it shouldn't take too long before it is done.
I've also been spending a fair amount of time on Touchdraw sketching out ideas for blocks/quilts. When I find one I really like I would like to offer up my first free pattern here. Now that I have finally got my head around writing patterns due to the Love Patchwork & Quilting commissions I think it would be nice to write some and share them here on the blog.
Oh, and I have Trudi's sewing machine in place and hope to find the time to get on with things tomorrow. I was out swanning about at Ange's today, being served lovely pieces of cake and talking too much. Nose back to the grindstone in the morning.
